Ceramic Pentacle Offering Bowl

A shallow offering bowl with a carved pentacle at the center. It's glazed with only one glaze, Mossy Blue, in varying thicknesses to achieve the mottled look and different colors. The glaze is a pale sky blue where its thickest, tan brown where its thinest, and a moss green in between. I think the end result makes the bowl look like a satellite photo of earth's surface.

Part of my series of pagan art, this bowl can be used on its own to represent the element earth or can be filled with offerings like sand, soil, salt, rice, or grains. Currently I am using it to hold some of my many crystals.

Techno mumbo: 5 1/2 inch wide, 1 1/2 inch deep pinch pot. Cone 10 white stoneware with NLC Cone 6 Mossy Blue glaze.
