A better photo and view of my scarab box, taken in my dusty Texas backyard (but we can pretend it's Egypt, okay?)
Currently I have a bigger and better scarab box in the works that's able to hold a lot more and has hieroglyphs on the side of the scarab sun god Khepri, but it's on hold until school starts again. Maybe this time I can get the raku glaze to have more red copper reduction and less green like a real scarab.

Looks great! I like the green though, I thought it was intentional since it is so consistently green. A raku copper would look cool too, but I just wonder if you'd be able to see the texture through the glaze.
